About me
strong local roots
- I grew up in Kettleby and attended elementary and high school in Newmarket before my family moved to Barrie. I have been a member and a volunteer since 2003, when I first campaigned for Julia Munro, in what was then York North. I married my wife, Courtney at King Valley Golf Course in 2010 and we now live in Keswick with our three daughters. Courtney and her family operate Smith, Williams & Bateman Insurance Brokers in Newmarket, while I work with Tim Hudak at Counsel Public Affairs.

- Worked on Parliament Hill in the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Conservative Caucus Research Office/Conservative Resource Group from 2008-15 and at Queen's Park as a Policy Advisor to Minister Mulroney from 2019-22
